# The solution to the SCCM error "EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'fnlsCas'" when opening some of the Reports

FYI:

In case you are using SCCM with SQL Server 2019 and are seeing the following error when opening some of the Reports. 

> 
EXECUTE permission was denied on the object 'fnlsCas'


Just install following SQL Server 2019 hotfix [KB4538581](https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/topic/kb4538581-fix-scalar-udf-inlining-issues-in-sql-server-2019-f52d3759-a8b7-a107-1ab9-7fbee264dd5d) and you are good to go 👍
